Cosmos Daily is a celestial history chronicle that maps major celestial events — eclipses, conjunctions, oppositions, and planetary ingresses — to the pivotal world events they coincide with. We span over 4,500 years of history, from the construction of the Great Pyramid to the present day, revealing the patterns between what happens in the sky and what happens on Earth.

Cosmos Daily draws from mundane astrology — the branch of astrology applied to world events, nations, and collective history rather than individual birth charts. We present verified historical correlations between celestial alignments and major events. Whether these correlations are causal, symbolic, or coincidental is left to the reader.

Every event in our database is historically verified using primary sources, academic records, and established chronologies. Celestial data comes from NASA's ephemeris tables and confirmed astronomical records. We cross-reference both to ensure accuracy. Events are rated on a 1–5 significance scale based on celestial rarity and historical impact.

Each event is rated 1–5 based on celestial weight. Outer planet alignments (Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus) score higher than inner planet events. Conjunctions at cardinal points (0° Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) receive the highest ratings. A significance-5 event like the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of 2020 is a once-in-a-generation alignment.

We categorize celestial events by six types, ranked by their historical impact:

1. Eclipse — Most powerful. Triggers events for 6+ months. Eclipses act as cosmic spotlights, exposing hidden flaws and forcing change.
2. Conjunction — New cycles begin. Two planets merge energy at the same degree, marking major shifts in the areas they govern.
3. Square — Crisis points. 90° angles create tension, friction, and forced action. Squares break what isn't working.
4. Opposition — Culmination and confrontation. 180° angles bring full expression — what began at the conjunction now reaches its peak or breaking point.
5. Retrograde — Review, reversal, disruption. Planets appear to move backward, forcing reconsideration of what their domain governs.
6. Ingress — A planet enters a new zodiac sign, beginning a gradual shift in collective energy. Outer planet ingresses shape entire generations.

This section maps current world events to active celestial transits. Right now, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries (institutional dissolution), Uranus in Gemini (communication revolution), and the Blood Moon in Virgo (systemic exposure) are the major active transits shaping global events in 2025–2026.
