2026 Major Aspects Calendar: Every Outer-Planet Aspect

The outer planets — Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto — move slowly enough that their aspects to each other define entire eras. Here is every major outer-planet aspect of 2026, dated and explained.

Outer-planet aspects unfold over months. Exact dates are the peak; the influence extends weeks before and after.

The single defining transit of 2026 is the Saturn-Neptune conjunction perfecting on February 20 at 0° Aries. This is the alignment everything else in the year orbits around.

Saturn-Neptune conjunctions occur every approximately 36 years. The previous ones were in 1989 (at 11° Capricorn — fall of the Berlin Wall), 1953 (in late Libra — Stalin's death, end of the Korean War), and 1917 (in Leo — Russian Revolution, end of monarchical Europe). Each previous Saturn-Neptune conjunction has correlated with the dissolution of a previous era's institutional order.

What makes 2026's conjunction unusual is the degree: 0° Aries is the "world axis" — the spring equinox point, the beginning of the zodiac, the most cardinal degree available. Saturn-Neptune conjunctions at this exact degree have not occurred in roughly 2,000 years. The combination of structure (Saturn) and dissolution (Neptune) at the world axis suggests, in mundane astrology terms, a paradigm-level reset of how civilization organizes itself.

Saturn-Neptune at 0° Aries is the world axis dissolving and rebuilding at once. The last comparable degree-alignment was roughly 2,000 years ago.

For deep coverage, see the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction 2026 study. The short version: expect institutional dissolution paired with the seeding of new structural forms throughout 2026, with effects compounding into 2027 and 2028.

The second-most-significant 2026 transit is Uranus's ingress into Gemini on July 7. Uranus moves through one zodiac sign every seven years. Its arrival in Gemini begins a new chapter of disruptive innovation in the sign of communication, information, and networks.

The previous Uranus-in-Gemini transit ran from 1942 to 1949 and coincided with: the development of early electronic computers (ENIAC, Colossus), the establishment of broadcast television as a mass medium, the postwar communication networks that became modern telecommunications, and the publication of foundational information-theory work. The transit before that (1858–1866) coincided with the laying of the first transatlantic telegraph cable and the establishment of global communications.

Uranus in Gemini 2026–2033 will almost certainly coincide with significant transformation in AI, conversational interfaces, network architecture, and how information moves through society. The exact form is unpredictable — Uranus is the planet of the unexpected — but the domain is clear.

Uranus briefly returns to Taurus in late 2026 (retrograde back from early Gemini) before settling into Gemini for the long stay starting early 2027.

Jupiter spends the first half of 2026 in Cancer (where it has been since June 2025) and ingresses into Leo on June 30, 2026. The shift is significant.

Jupiter in Cancer (mid-2025 through June 2026) is the expansion of home, family, emotional foundation, and inherited resource. Real-estate cycles, family business growth, and ancestry-related work tend to peak. Jupiter in Leo (July 2026 through July 2027) is the expansion of identity, public visibility, creative expression, and personal sovereignty. Career visibility, creative output, and the urge toward personal expression all amplify.

Several notable Jupiter aspects occur during 2026:

Jupiter sextile Saturn (Mar–May): a supportive aspect where structure (Saturn-Aries) and expansion (Jupiter-Cancer) collaborate. Good for building durable new ventures.

Jupiter opposite Pluto (Aug–Oct): a hard aspect where Jupiter-in-Leo (expansive ego/visibility) clashes with Pluto-in-Aquarius (collective power restructuring). Public personalities, organizations, and movements collide. Power-and-charisma reckonings.

Jupiter trine Uranus (Sep–Nov): a harmonious aspect between Jupiter-in-Leo and the newly-arrived Uranus-in-Gemini. Innovation in creative output, breakthrough opportunities, the meeting of expansive vision with disruptive new tools.

Both Pluto and Neptune are in the very early degrees of new signs throughout 2026 — Pluto in early Aquarius (2°–5°) and Neptune in early Aries (1°–5°). These are the integration years of two generation-defining ingresses.

Pluto in Aquarius (the full ingress occurring in 2024) is the 20-year transit that will define collective restructuring through 2044. Aquarius rules technology, networks, institutions, and the abstract systems that organize human life. Pluto transforms what it touches. The combination is being interpreted as the transformation of governance, currency, large-scale technological systems, and the basic architecture of how society is organized. 2026 is year 2 of the 20.

Neptune in Aries (full ingress 2025) is the 14-year transit that will redefine collective imagination, idealism, and what civilization is willing to believe about its own future. Neptune dissolves what is rigid; Aries initiates. The pairing produces dreams of new beginnings, sometimes with insufficient grounding, throughout the 14-year transit. 2026 is year 2 of the 14.

Throughout 2026, Pluto in Aquarius forms a sextile to Neptune in Aries — a slow, supportive 60° aspect that links collective restructuring (Pluto) with collective imagination (Neptune). This aspect is the long-arc backdrop of the decade.

Outer-planet aspects unfold over weeks and months, not days. The exact dates listed are peaks; the influence extends in either direction.

To use this calendar productively: identify the 2–3 aspects whose degrees touch your own chart (natal planets within 5°). Those are the aspects of 2026 that will affect you personally. The rest of the calendar describes the collective weather you are operating inside.

For most charts, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries is the single most important transit to track. Anyone with cardinal-axis personal planets (0° Aries/Cancer/Libra/Capricorn within a 5° orb) is being directly hit. Anyone with mutable-air planets (Gemini) is being contacted by the Uranus ingress. Anyone with fixed-sign personal planets (Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio) is being hit by the August eclipses.

2026 is structurally a transitional year: Saturn-Neptune resets the world axis in February, Uranus opens a new seven-year chapter in July, and the slow Pluto-Neptune sextile underwrites the whole arc. The year's headline is the conjunction; the year's slower work is the integration of Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries into the texture of everyday civilization. Watch the dates. The aspects unfold around you whether or not you notice them.
