Cosmos Daily is an astrology site built around two things: astrocartography, which maps your birth chart onto the world, and readings across eight traditions, from Western astrology and Vedic to Bazi and the Tree of Life. The charts are computed in your browser from your birth data; the paid readings are written from that computed chart and emailed to you to keep.
Astrocartography draws a line on the map for each planet wherever it was rising, setting, overhead or underfoot at the moment you were born. Close to a line, that planet’s themes are said to run strongest: Venus for love and ease, Jupiter for luck and growth, Saturn for work and pressure. The map shows every line and the cities they cross.

For astrocartography, yes. The Earth turns a degree every four minutes, so a four-minute error shifts every line by about one degree of longitude, roughly 110 km at the equator. Your Sun, Moon and planet signs are reliable from the date alone; your rising sign, houses and map lines need the time.
Planet positions are computed from published astronomical algorithms and tested against JPL reference positions before every release. The dates we publish for eclipses, retrogrades and ingresses are checked by an automated gate against our ephemeris before any page goes live, so the sky data on this site is computed, never guessed.
No, and we do not claim it is. Astrology is a symbolic tradition, and our readings describe themes, not fixed outcomes. What we do promise is that the astronomy underneath is correct: every position, date and line is calculated from the real sky.
