The principles that guide every entry in the archive.

I

Accuracy First

Every celestial alignment is verified against NASA JPL ephemeris data. Every historical event is cross-referenced against multiple independent sources. If we cannot verify both the celestial and historical components to our standards, the event does not enter the archive.

II

No Cherry-Picking

We do not select events to prove a predetermined thesis. The archive includes events where major alignments corresponded with relatively quiet periods, and events where significant historical moments occurred under unremarkable skies. The full picture matters more than a compelling narrative.

III

Correlation, Not Causation

We present temporal correlations. We do not claim that celestial events cause earthly ones. The cosmic link analysis describes the astrological framework's interpretation of each alignment, clearly labeled as such. The reader draws their own conclusions.

The interpretation is yours. Our job is to present the data with enough clarity and context that you can form your own view.

IV

Sensitivity & Respect

Events involving human tragedy — wars, pandemics, assassinations — are presented with appropriate gravity. We do not sensationalize suffering. Death tolls and humanitarian impacts are reported using widely accepted figures from established historical sources.

V

Corrections & Updates

If an error is identified in any event — whether astronomical, historical, or interpretive — we correct it. The archive is a living document. We welcome corrections and submissions from readers via the Submit an Event form.

VI

Independence

Cosmos Daily has no corporate sponsors, no advertisers, and no editorial influence from outside parties. The project is funded entirely by reader donations. This independence is not negotiable.
