Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. When you submit an event suggestion or contact us, we collect your email and message content. That's it.

What We Don't Collect

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not use Google Analytics. We do not sell, share, or trade your personal information with third parties. We do not build user profiles. We do not track your browsing behavior within the site.

The only cookie set by this site is googtrans, a strictly functional cookie used by the Google Translate widget to remember your language preference. It contains no personal data and is exempt from consent requirements under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.

Analytics

We use Vercel's built-in analytics, which collects aggregated, anonymized page view data. No personal information is collected. No cookies are set. This is compliant with GDPR without requiring a cookie consent banner.

Third-Party Services

The contact form is processed through Web3Forms. Email subscriptions are managed through MailerLite. Payments for readings and consultations are processed through Stripe. Transactional email — reading delivery and saved-chart links — is sent through Resend. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not store payment information.

Our reading engines accept birth data (date, time, location, name) to generate personalized readings. Chart calculations are performed entirely in your browser. If you purchase a reading or consultation, your chart data — and, for the Oracle, the text you paste and the questions you ask — is sent to our server to generate the reading via Anthropic's Claude API. So that you never lose a purchased reading, the generated reading is stored under a private, unguessable link for 90 days and emailed to the address used at checkout; after 90 days it is deleted automatically. If you opt in to saving your free chart by email, a slim copy of your chart is stored under a private link for 90 days — every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe that also deletes the stored chart immediately. The Google Translate widget is loaded from Google's servers and is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your email from our records at any time by contacting hello@cosmosdaily.co. We will comply within 48 hours.
