What is Yesod?
Yesod — Foundation — is the Sephirah just above Malkuth, the gateway between the physical world and everything that shapes it. It corresponds to the Moon, to dream, to the astral plane, and to the *nephesh* — the animal soul that connects body to spirit. Yesod is where the upper currents of the Tree are stored as image, memory, and felt sense before they manifest as physical reality.
