What is Kether?

Kether — the Crown — is the highest Sephirah on the Tree of Life. It is the point of pure being from which all other Sephirot emanate, the unmanifest source that the Kabbalists called "the most concealed of all concealed things." Nothing originates beyond Kether; everything below it is a step further from undifferentiated unity into form. In the body, Kether sits above the head as the corona of consciousness; in the soul, it is the spark of *yechidah* — the indivisible unity that links the human to the divine.

Kether in Your Birth Chart

When Kether is alive in your chart, you experience moments of unity that defy explanation — the sense that "I" and "the world" are temporary categories. People with strong Kether placements often gravitate to contemplative practice, mysticism, or the kind of leadership that comes from being a clear channel rather than a forceful will. Kether does not push; it radiates.
