venus in♌︎ Leo→loves to be witnessedhow you love
Venus shows how you love. Beneath it sit four more witnesses: Mars (what you desire), the 7th house (who walks in), the Chinese spouse palace (the seat your partner occupies), and the Venus nakshatra (the marriage-self underneath). Enter your birth details and we draw all five into one chart — the Venus Rose — free, in your browser.

How this chart is computed
Five signals, none of them invented. Your Venus, Mars, Moon, and 7th house come from real astronomy — Meeus algorithms and Keplerian elements. The spouse palace comes from the Chinese sexagenary calendar with a true solar-term engine. The nakshatra comes from the sidereal sky, Lahiri ayanāṃśa. Each system is computed by its own rules, then compared.
— ♀︎ FIVE SYSTEMS · ONE CHART · CONVERGENCE DECLARED, NOT ASSUMED
Your windows are computed, not flattered. The dated love windows come from the Vimshottari daśā clock, annual profections, Jupiter’s real transits to your Venus and 7th house, and Venus-retrograde weather — graded move / build / hold. A window is a condition, not a promise. We will never sell you a soulmate with a delivery date.
— ☽︎ DAŚĀ × PROFECTIONS × JUPITER · GRADED, DATED, HONEST
Everything runs in your browser. No birth data is sent to a server to compute your chart. Sun, Moon, and Ascendant use Jean Meeus’ algorithms (±0.02°); Venus and Mars use Keplerian elements (≤0.5°); the Bazi engine derives true solar terms by Newton–Raphson iteration on the Sun’s longitude.

Five witnesses, one verdict — here is the love chart you were born holding. The Venus Rose, drawn from your sky.
Two ways to read this chart
You’ve seen the five signals. Pick the reading that matches the question you’re actually asking — why (the pattern that keeps repeating, named and broken) or when (the dated windows of your next three years).

The Love Pattern Reading
$19 · ~2,500 words · emailed to you
Who you attract, how you love, and why it keeps going the same way — your five signals cross-examined until they confess the pattern.
How you love — Venus, Mars, and Moon read against each other, with the Sabian image of your exact Venus degree woven in
Who walks in — your 7th house and its ruler: the kind of person the door admits, and where the story reports to
The marriage-self beneath — your Venus nakshatra and the navamśa: what commitment reveals that courtship hides
The spouse signature — your Bazi palace and spouse star, translated into plain verdicts; a clash read honestly if you have one
The Loop, named & broken — the repeating pattern explained, where it shows in your last three chapters, and the exact place it breaks — plus one practice for this month
Best for: “Tell me why it keeps going this way.”
☽︎ The Windows · The When Layer
Your Love Window Forecast
$29 · ~2,800 words · emailed to you
The question every love reading gets asked first: when. Your current season read precisely, then every window in the next ~36 months — dated, graded, and choreographed.
The season you’re in — your current planetary period and year-lord read for love, with an honest verdict on the present
The dated windows — every move / build / hold stretch of the next three years with real start and end dates
The strongest window, choreographed — the month before, the window itself, the month after: what to actually do
The weather rules — what Venus retrograde is for, and what to do when a window passes unused (nothing is lost)
The mandate — one thing to do, one thing to stop doing, and a final line with a date in it
Best for: “Tell me when — with dates.”
A relationship reading of this depth from a working astrologer runs $150–450. These stream in minutes, are written to your exact chart, and are emailed to keep. Non-fatalistic by design: we map the weather, you sail — and we will never promise you a person, or threaten you with their absence.
The chart maps the pattern. The Oracle answers the question inside it.
Standing in front of a specific person or a specific decision — text back, commit, wait, walk? Paste any reading you have plus your real questions about this moment. The Oracle reads beneath the text through six esoteric traditions converging on a single direction. One consultation, $7.
Because one system can flatter you, and two can coincide — but when a Chinese calendar engine, a sidereal star-map, and a Hellenistic house wheel agree about your love life without sharing a single assumption, that is no longer a horoscope. It is a pattern with multiple witnesses. Each system on this page answers a question the others cannot: Western astrology answers how you love and who walks in; Jyotish answers what the marriage-self looks like beneath the courtship; Bazi answers what the partnership is structurally; and the timing layer answers when any of it comes due.
The free chart shows you all five signals and where they converge. The paid readings do the cross-examination: setting witness against witness until the pattern — the Loop — confesses, and putting dates on the seasons when it changes.
Convergence · The Signature
Each signal’s element maps to one of four temperaments — the Spark, the Anchor, the Mirror, the Deep. Where the count lands is your Love Signature; the signal that breaks ranks is where your loop lives.
Divergence · The Loop
When your Venus wants fire and your spouse palace holds metal, that gap is not an error in the math. It is the repeating pattern of your love life, computed — and it has a name.
Timing · The Windows
The daśā clock, the profection wheel, and Jupiter’s real transits, merged into graded windows: move, build, hold. Conditions, never promises — with real dates.
The Five Signals
One love life, five instruments
This is not a Venus calculator with extras bolted on. It is five separately-computed readings of the same question — each from a tradition with its own mathematics — laid on one chart so the agreements and arguments become visible.
Signal I & II
Venus & Mars — how you love, what you desire
The Western core. Venus by sign, house, and dignity is the texture of your affection — and the Sabian symbol of its exact degree gives it an image older than your habits. Mars is the other appetite: pursuit, ignition, the fight you pick. When the two want different elements, that tension runs through every relationship you’ve had — which is why this page never reads Venus alone.
Signal III
The 7th House — who walks in
The sign opposite your rising sign is the door partnership arrives through: the kind of person it admits, the way commitment tends to begin. Its ruling planet — where it sits, what condition it’s in — shows where the story of partnership reports to in your life. Whole-sign houses, the oldest convention there is.
Signal IV
The Spouse Palace — the structural witness
Chinese Bazi reads partnership from the earthly branch beneath your day of birth — the seat your partner occupies — and from the spouse star, the element that represents a partner relative to your Day Master. Visible, hidden, or absent, each position tells a different story. No signs, no houses, no shared assumptions with the West: testimony from another courtroom entirely.
Signal V
The Venus Nakshatra — the marriage-self beneath
In the sidereal sky your Venus occupies one of 27 lunar mansions — finer grain than any sign, each with its own deity and temperament. And in the navamśa, the ninth-harmonic chart Jyotish reads for marriage, your Venus moves again: what commitment reveals that courtship hides.
The mechanics: how five systems become one verdict
The temperament mapping, declared
To compare systems that never met, each signal’s element is mapped to one of four temperaments: the Spark (passion-led), the Anchor (devotion-led), the Mirror (mind-led), the Deep (feeling-led). Western fire, earth, air, and water map directly. The Chinese five elements map by declared convention: Fire and Wood to the Spark (passion and growth), Earth to the Anchor, Metal to the Mirror — the polished bronze mirror of antiquity, discernment itself — and Water to the Deep. You can disagree with the mapping; you can’t catch it moving between charts.
The signature and the loop
Five signals, four temperaments: the majority is your Love Signature — what you actually fall for, attested across systems. The signal that breaks ranks marks the gap, and the gap names your Loop: a repeating pattern drawn from a fixed table of twenty archetypes keyed to your dominant temperament and your dissenting one. The free chart names the loop. The Pattern Reading explains how it formed, where it shows in your history, and the place it breaks.
How the windows are graded
Each of the next 36 months is scored: a Venus or partnership-lord sub-period opens the strongest wind; a year when the profection wheel activates your 1st, 5th, or 7th house adds more; Jupiter crossing or trining your natal Venus, or walking your 7th sign, adds again; Venus retrograde subtracts. A means move, B means build, C means hold. The grading rules are a declared simplification of classical doctrine — simple enough to audit, honest enough to say so.
How to read your results
Start at the Venus Rose — the five-petaled curve Venus and Earth actually draw between them every eight years, with your five signals at its points and the convergence count at its heart. Then read down: how you love, the oracle of your Venus degree, who walks in, the deeper image, the spouse seat. The loop’s name and your window grades are free. The explanation, and the dates, are the two readings.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is my Venus sign?
The zodiac sign Venus occupied when you were born. Where the Sun describes identity, Venus describes how you love: what affection feels like coming from you, what you find beautiful, what you reach for in a partner. Venus is never more than two signs from your Sun — which is why two people with the same Sun sign can love completely differently. The calculator above finds yours from your birth date in seconds.
Venus sign vs Sun sign — which matters for love?
Sun-sign compatibility is the headline; Venus is the contract. Working astrologers read Venus (affection), Mars (desire), the Moon (need), and the 7th house (the partner who shows up) before they ever mention your Sun. This page computes all four — then calls two witnesses from outside Western astrology entirely.
What does my Mars sign mean in love?
Mars is desire: how you pursue, what ignites you, how you fight. It is often a different element from your Venus — loving steadily while wanting suddenly, or vice versa — and that gap is one of the most common sources of the repeating pattern this page calls the Loop. Venus and Mars are read against each other here, never alone.
What is the 7th house?
The partnership house — the sign opposite your rising sign. It describes the kind of person you attract when the subject is commitment, and its ruling planet shows where the story of partnership reports to in your chart. Because it derives from your rising sign, it changes every two hours of birth time — one of the two places where an accurate time really matters on this page.
What is the Bazi spouse palace — and the spouse star?
In Chinese Four Pillars astrology, the earthly branch of your day of birth is the Spouse Palace: the seat your life partner occupies, read for the partner’s temperament and for the stability of the seat (a clash from another pillar is taken seriously). The spouse star is the element representing a partner relative to your Day Master — standing visibly, hiding inside a branch, or absent, each telling a different story. Classical doctrine assigns the star set by gender; this page lets you choose which set fits, or reads both.
What is the Venus nakshatra — and the navamśa?
Measured against the fixed stars, your Venus occupies one of 27 nakshatras — lunar mansions of 13°20′, each with a deity, a symbol, and a temperament: the finer grain beneath the sign. The navamśa (D9) is the ninth divisional chart, traditionally read as the marriage chart — where your Venus moves when the question is commitment rather than courtship. A Venus that changes character between charts describes a love life that changes character after vows.
Can astrology tell me when I’ll meet someone?
Not a person, not a date — and be suspicious of anything that promises either. What the timing systems can do is grade the seasons: planetary periods when relationship themes come due, years when the partnership houses are activated, transits that add tailwind. This page merges them into windows graded move / build / hold, with real start and end dates. A window is a condition: doors open easier, but you still walk through them yourself.
Do I need my exact birth time?
Your Venus and Mars signs are reliable from the date alone — they move slowly enough. Time matters most for the 7th house (rising-sign derived, changes every ~2 hours), the navamśa layer, and the dated windows (the daśā clock is wound from the Moon’s exact position, ~13° a day). Without a time the calculator uses noon and tells you exactly which placements to trust.
How These Calculations Are Made
Every number on this page is computed live in your browser from your birth data — no server round-trip, no third-party astrology API. Five systems run by their own rules; the conventions and the one declared mapping between them are below, so any output can be cross-checked.
Sun, Moon & Ascendant
Solar and lunar longitudes use Jean Meeus’ Astronomical Algorithms — Chapter 25 for the Sun, Chapter 47 for the Moon (the full 60-term series). Typical accuracy ±0.02°. The Ascendant — and with it your 7th house — derives from Meeus Chapter 12’s GMST with the obliquity of date, verified to ±1–2 arcminutes.
Venus & Mars
Keplerian orbital elements (Paul Schlyter, 1979) translated to geocentric longitude — accuracy ≤0.5° for 1900–2100, ample for sign, house, and nakshatra placement. Retrograde status is detected from the actual derivative of motion across the birth date, not a lookup table. Placements within a degree of a sign boundary are flagged.
Houses & Dignities
Whole-sign houses from the Ascendant — the oldest convention: the rising sign is the 1st house, the opposite sign the 7th. Essential dignities (domicile, exaltation, detriment, fall) follow the traditional Hellenistic table, shown wherever Venus or Mars carries one.
The Sabian Degree
Each of the 360 zodiac degrees carries a symbolic image from the 1925 Jones–Wheeler session, kept in the Rudhyar tradition. Your Venus’s exact degree (rounded up, the classical convention) selects its symbol — shown as an image, never a fortune.
The Bazi Engine
Four Pillars from the sexagenary calendar: the year pillar anchored to lichun, the month pillar to true solar terms found by Newton–Raphson iteration on the Sun’s longitude, the day pillar from the Julian Day, the hour from classical double-hours with a local-solar-time correction. The Spouse Palace is the day branch; hidden stems follow the canonical 藏干 table; the spouse star derives from Ten-God relations to the Day Master, with the star set chosen by you — not assumed.
The Sidereal Layer
Venus’s tropical longitude is converted to sidereal with the Lahiri (Chitra-pakṣa) ayanāṃśa (≈24°13′ in 2026), locating its nakshatra and pada; the navamśa sign follows the standard 3°20′ progression. The daśā clock uses the Vimshottari sequence with 365.25-day years, wound from the Moon’s exact nakshatra fraction.
The Temperament Mapping
The one bridge between systems, declared in full: Western fire/earth/air/water map to the Spark/Anchor/Mirror/Deep directly; Chinese Fire and Wood to the Spark, Earth to the Anchor, Metal to the Mirror, Water to the Deep. The Love Signature is a majority count of five signals under this mapping; the Loop is keyed from the majority and the dissent. An editorial convention — fixed, auditable, and identical for every chart.
The Window Grading
Each of the next 36 months is scored from the daśā layer (Venus or partnership-lord sub-periods strongest), the profection year (1st/5th/7th-house years add), Jupiter’s computed transits to natal Venus and the 7th sign, and Venus-retrograde overlap (subtracts). A ≥ move, B ≥ build, C = hold. A declared simplification of classical timing doctrine — auditable by design.
Timezone & Historical DST
Your birth location is geocoded against a database of 200+ cities or via the OpenStreetMap Nominatim API. The IANA timezone database (via the browser’s Intl API) handles historical DST. Half-hour and quarter-hour zones (India +5:30, Iran +3:30, Nepal +5:45) are supported.
